Various Uses for Honors Plaques

Posted by Sherry

Perpetual Plaques deserve a better name! Most people don’t even know what it means. Until now no one has come up with a better alternative name. So why not Honors Plaques? Those names listed on any multi-plated plaque truly are those being honored, so the name seems appropriate. Let’s do it…..make it a brand somewhat like Kleenex did with the word tissue. Honors Plaques…sounds good!

Until our organization started researching the various and most valuable uses for Honors Plaques we had no idea of how creative and useful these plaques could be.

a. Employee of the month, quarter, year
b. Top performer
c. Top donor/contributor
d. Best Suggestions
e. Membership
f. Participation
g. Commemorative
h. Progress (fund raising, goals)
i. Volunteer contributions
j. Achievement
k. History of: past chairs, performers

The uses listed above are more ordinary than extraordinary. The uses are limitless. Some of the more unique uses are:
1. Challenge plaques- The plates easily move up or down as the one above is challenged.
2. Mission/vision plaques- Those that best live up to the companies values would be posted.
3. Sacred dates- A record of meaningful dates for an individual or company.

Send us your ideas. We’d love to see how you have used your “Honors Plaque”.
